Human Machine Interface

Automata, starting from customer requiremts, develops human machine interface complete projects.
it writes specifications of "Industrial Design" to conform the product to esthetic and ergonomics of application, studys layout colors, defines graphic pages and explicative synoptics. Beside that Automata design both electronics and mechanical parts (also by die casting) and take care of manufacturing proces tune.
In order to have so high integration level of the product, Automata uses Co.Design technics, that is team work of designer for all design and manufacturing process, sharing project files, cooperating with the customer and engineers involved into product definition.

Electronics
In this case electronics project has been based on PC architecture (operator interface) to increase system flexibility and support easy integration to company network, while comunication board to customer propietary application has been based on Motorola architecture.
Following technical solution has been adopt In order to increase reliability of the system:
  • Fully fanless system. Heat is extract from unit chassis through conduction process using passive heatsinks.
  • Unit enclosure with high protection degree to avoid environment contamination
  • Mass memory with flash memory technology: Compact flash cards accessible by integrated cage
  • Resistive touch screen 5 wires
  • Magnetic keyboard to increase number of operations
  • Real-time and multitasking operating system
