SCS is a modular control system based on CAN bus. Its great versatility
allows SCS to be used either as standalone control or as main component
in distributed control systems. A SCS based structure can also include
Industrial PC's, operator panels, drives or distributed I/O's. All
connected via the standard fieldbus CAN with CANopen protocol.
SCS'advanced control system architecture guarantees economic efficiency
by providing:
Modular architecture with combination of distributed intelligence and distributed IO
Unique soft- and hardware modules for different machine lines
Flexible expandability· Reusable software modules thanks to the modular system architecture
Ease of applications maintenance even on complex applications
Integration of the control into the mechanical units· Separate startup of mechanical machine modules
Reduced installation costs and compact electric cabinets
Ease of handling: SCS units are snapped on DIN rails and use mainly plug connectors with screw or spring contacts
Worldwide remote diagnosis, service and firmware/application update, and
Open international industrial standards like CANopen and IEC61131
The system includes base units (with different I/Os) and extension units to add MODULbus modules with special functionality.
The
programming suite for all SCS units is CoDeSys by
3S . This powerful development tool with
all IEC 61131-3 functions, soft motion, visualisation and all other
necessary features does ensure efficient and comfortable programming.
The SCS modules build a stable platform to solve your unique tasks too.
